Before & After School Care

Beginning in the 2026 school year, Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue (BGCB) will partner with the Bellevue School District as its exclusive childcare provider.

Through our programs, we create supportive environments that foster positive youth development, build confidence, and empower young people to thrive.

Project Learn - School Age Childcare

Kindergarten - Grade 5

Current Program Dates: Wednesday, September 2, 2026 - Thursday, June 17, 2027

Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue afterschool program for youth in Kindergarten to Grade 5 is called Project Learn.

Project Learn helps young people build on what they’re learning at school while making the most of their time at the Club. Through engaging activities and caring support, we create opportunities for youth to strengthen their academic skills, explore new interests, and grow their confidence as learners.

Our Club staff bring learning into everything we do, from reading and writing to homework help, tutoring, games, meaningful conversations, and opportunities to help others. These experiences encourage young people to think critically, solve problems, build relationships, and discover the joy of learning.

We also believe that young people thrive when the adults in their lives work together. That’s why Project Learn encourages strong partnerships between families, Club staff, and school professionals, creating a supportive community around every young person.

Our Programs Team

Meet our Program Leaders

For nearly 75 years, the Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue has been a youth development leader in the Bellevue community. Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue is a non-profit organization that serves youth age 3-18. We provides safe facilities, professional staff, and fun programs that encourage youth to develop in the areas of Academic Success, Good Character & Citizenship, and Healthy Lifestyles.

Our programs employ youth development professionals guided by a team of experienced Unit Directors. Prior to being hired, each staff member undergoes a criminal background check, reference check and in-depth interview. Our professionals receive on-going Boys & Girls Clubs of Bellevue and Boys & Girls Clubs of America program training.

Our programs run a strict ratio of staff to youth to ensure that safety is a Club priority.
